This week, MSR has been doing Mapping and Location in Mathematics.  Students have enjoyed creating maps of their ideal classrooms and will soon create a map of their own imaginary island.

PRESTON MARKET

Last Thursday, Middle School went on an excursion to the Preston Market for our 'Healthy Eating' inquiry unit.

All of the Middle School got on the bus . When we all got there, we split up into our groups. I had Charlie, Bridie, Matt, Abby and Shakira in my group.

We all went to buy our food for lunch. The Preston Market was VERY BUSY.

Preston Market by Ryan

Preston Market

Last Thursday, Middle School went to the Preston Market. In my group I had Max, Jordy and Rueben. We went to the Preston Market because we were learning about fruit and vegetables.

We had to go to all different shops and at one shop we got a free toffee.

We met back with the other Middle School students and went back to school to try all the foods. I tried a octopus.

I made my wrap and in it I put butter, ham and cheese. The Preston Market is the best!

Preston Market

Last Thursday all middle school students and teachers went to the preston market.

When we got to the preston market we all had to get into our groups. the people in my group were will, briony, caitlin and alanah.

After that we all got to go shopping. i got ham first, then I got a tomato, then I got my roll.

When everyone was finished we all got back on the bus and went back to school to make our roll or sandwich.

When we got back to school we all got to make a roll or sandwich then we got to eat it. The sandwich was really nice.

Preston Market Excursion

Middle School had a fantastic time on our excursion to the Preston Market last Thursday, enjoying all the sights, sounds and experiences the market had to offer.  MSR was also very excited to learn about and taste a range of different vegetables and fruits during our incursion at school on Wednesday.

This week students wrote about the things they enjoyed most during the excursion and incursion.  These will be posted onto our blog as they finish publishing them.
